Design Advice Please

Design Advice Please

Postby Taggs on Sat Nov 07, 2009 10:26 am

Hi Guys

I'm after a bit of design advice, I've been asked to plaster the ceiling and walls of a small downstairs loo. Unfortunately the client hasn't got a clue what they want other than "its got to be shiny and bright" so they have left it up to me to come up with a colour scheme etc.
So Luci its going to be but not sure what colour to go for, any tips ? or photos of completed jobs would be grate, as I'm not very adventurous with my use of colour.

That's a question with a million answers Taggs and the answers are very subjective depending upon each individual.
Dark ceiling and light walls will lower the ceiling height giving the impression that the room is smaller.
White or very pale colors will give the impression that the toilet is larger the opposite for really dark colors.

Colors that work together - pale grey and yellow, yellow and mid blue, grey and white, green and yellow - my suggestion would be to keep the colors really washed out (pale) almost white tints but it depends upon what your clients expectations are. just my two penneth - hope it helps ;o)

Try get some info, if in doubt say your going to do it black and white,,,always a wow factor there.
